Dogs attack Sun City woman

A woman received minor bites protecting her dog from other dogs on West Arrowhead Drive Oct. 6.
According to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, two canines from a residence were able to escape their property and attacked a smaller dog being walked by a woman. In attempts to protect her dog, the woman received minor bites from the loose canines.
The owner of the leashed dog was transported to a nearby veterinarian to receive care for her dog and Animal Rabies and Control was contacted and informed of the bite incident.
The other two canines were located and there is an ongoing investigation of the incident.
