Sun City West Sportsman's Club sets next meeting

The Sun City West Sportsman’s Club monthly meeting is 1 p.m. Monday March 25, in the R.H. Johnson Social Hall. Members can meet with the various group leaders from 1 to 1:30 p.m. to have their questions answered. There will be a short business meeting starting at 1:30 p.m. followed by the meeting guest speaker.

The speaker for the March meeting will be Mike Gonzalez, from Fun and Fit E-Bikes. He will talk about “The Hows and Whys of E-Bikes.”

The Snowbird hiking season continues with weekly hikes. Meet in area 14 of the R.H. Johnson parking lot to sign liability waivers and pair up drivers and riders. Michael Anenen is the hike coordinator and communicator. He will send emails each week detailing the upcoming hike. Anenen and several other volunteers will lead the C and B hikes. The SCW Masters Swimmers continues to have coached workouts 7-8:30 a.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at the R.H. Johnson pool.
