As part of its comprehensive Care Ministry Program, Shepherd of the Hills United Methodist Church, 13658 W. Meeker Blvd., offers four support groups designed to meet different needs of individuals in the community. Individuals can participate in any group and are not required to attend all sessions. The next session of GriefShare will run from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, May 2, and will meet every Thursday in the church’s Fellowship Hall through July 25, except for July 4. This 14-week course is a video, workbook and discussion group for individuals who have lost a loved one and are coping with grief. Course materials are provided, and everyone is welcome. For more information contact Kathy Culliton at cullitonkathleen@gmail.com or call 435-730-4466.

Complicated Grief, a support group for those whose lives have been impacted by suicide or violent death of a loved one or friend, meets 6:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Mondays of the month. In addition, the Grief Support Group for anyone coping with the loss of a spouse, child, parent, beloved pet, or a job meets 10 a.m. every Wednesday for an open topic, open sharing discussion to help individuals find hope and healing.
