Maintenance happening in Sun City West today

The Recreation Centers of Sun City West’s Facilities Maintenance department will begin work on the R.H. Johnson campus on Tuesday, June 4, to reseal foundations at two of its buildings.

Crews will start at the back of Silvercraft and then move to the south wall of the Sports Pavilion. Silvercraft digging will begin Tuesday and the Sports Pavilion work will follow shortly thereafter.

The operation of the areas will not be impacted, but residents should avoid areas taped off with barricades.

Staff will dig a few feet from the walls to prep the area where water is leaking through the foundation. Both of these building sections were expansions from the original build. Once cleaned, the areas will be repaired and resealed.
