SPAM hosts workshops at Sun City West library

The Scrapbooking, Papercrafts & More club recently hosted a greeting card make-and-take workshop at the R.H. Johnson library. Each participant hand-crafted two cards and a tasseled bookmark.

During the hands-on workshop, club members Carol Accacian, Lu-Ann Grillo, Denise Maleszewski and club president/instructor Lynne Marion answered questions and assisted the participants each make a stylish, automotive-themed masculine birthday card and a book fold-styled greeting card.

SPAM will offer two additional greeting card workshops at the library this summer: 10 a.m.-noon Wednesday, July 10 and Aug. 14. Seating is limited and registration is required; call 623-544-6130.

Learn the art of stamping and paper crafting and how to make greeting cards or a scrapbook album (traditional or digital) by joining SPAM in Beardsley’s Agave Room on Thursdays (10 a.m.-3 p.m.), Fridays (10 a.m.-3 p.m.) and Saturdays (10 a.m.-5 p.m.).
