Red, white and ARC in Sun City West

The Automotive/Restoration Club (ARC) of Sun City West gathered to celebrate the Fourth of July in grand style. More than 100 members and spouses filled “The Shop” for lunch. Everyone was able to beat the 100 degree heat inside the ARC building. Club members provided all the food for the occasion. The menu included fried chicken, pulled pork, salads and delicious desserts. Before eating, members sang the National Anthem, and then all prayed to reflect on the freedoms everyone enjoys and asked for spiritual guidance of those same freedoms into the future.

It wasn’t just a luncheon though, organizers had a variety of games, contests and raffles. Each table competed in a trivia contest, Bingo, and a coveted “Best Patriotic Attire” contest.
