Members of the Rip ‘N’ Sew club participated in a Summer Mystery Quilt class, which they recently completed.

Depending on the number of added rows and borders, the row quilt could be made as a baby quilt, wall hanging or lap quilt. There were options for beginners and experienced quilters. Each clue had a skill-building demo and an optional hands-on tutorial.

The quilt started with a focus row that could be a border print, a large-scale directional fabric or even a row-by-row (9-inch by 36-inch) pattern.

Participants didn’t know the full pattern until the final clue. All members of the Sun City West club could attend and no one had to commit to making the quilt.
