Facebook seminar looks at minimum wage

The Northwest Valley Chamber of Commerce will host a Facebook discussion on minimum wage laws and this year’s election 10:15 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23, at facebook.com/surpriseregionalchamber.

The discussion will detail the difference between the two minimum wage ballot items, the impact on small businesses, how might it affect consumer prices and more.

Rick Gray, a former Arizona House and Senate member, will moderate the panel, which will feature John Balitis, a labor attorney, and Russ McCullough, an economist.
