Registration for Sun City West Senior Softball is open

Sun City West Senior Softball is now open for the Fall 2024 season for Sun City West residents.

Residents are encouraged to register  and if plans change later, individuals can be removed.  But an accurate number is needed for the draft, which will help determine league sizes and schedules.

Registration is open until Monday, Sept. 30 and the season runs Monday, Oct. 28  to Friday, Jan. 17.

As an introduction to the softball club,  new players can go to Liberty Field,  14401 R.H. Johnson Blvd., for  Sunday morning open batting practice. Sun City West residents must  have a valid recreation card along with the signed waiver form.

New players will get a scheduled tryout when ready for their Green Team. A panel of approved softball club Raters will rate a new player based on skill level and abilities. After the new player receives their official league rating, they enter into the appropriate league.
