Braemar figure skaters presents ‘Under the Big Top’

Come one, come all. The Braemar City of the Lakes Figure Skating Club announced their annual spring ice skating show titled “Under the Big Top,” which will take place 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 19, and Saturday, April 20, at the Braemar Arena, 7501 Ikola Way.

“Under the Big Top” will take attendees to the circus of their childhood, featuring clowns, acrobats, snake charmers and more all on the ice. Braemar skaters will perform to music from favorite circus-themed movies and musicals.

The Braemar City of the Lakes Figure Skating Club has over 87 club skaters, ages three to 18, from communities all across the metro and as far as New Ulm participating in the show. This year’s show will add 50 city class skaters from the club’s Learn to Skate program and special guests from the DREAM Adaptive Skating program.

The shows are open to the public. Tickets will be available at the door for $10. Advanced sales are available by contacting the Braemar Figure Skating Club at braemarfscinfo@gmail.com
