Kiddie Academy of Chanhassen hosts grand opening

Kiddie Academy Educational Child Care, a nationally recognized brand of comprehensive educational child care programs, announces the opening of a new franchise location at 550 Lake Drive in Chanhassen. Kiddie Academy of Chanhassen, which held its grand opening on Saturday, Aug. 17, is owned and operated by Erin and Robert Blanton, who also own Kiddie Academy of Edina.

“We opened our first Kiddie Academy in 2018 with the desire to bring a new, education-based child care concept to the Twin Cities—one that offered families and children a high quality and personalized experience,” said Erin Blanton. “We are thrilled and humbled at the opportunity to expand in the Twin Cities, bringing the Kiddie Academy experience to even more families across the West Metro.”

The state-of-the-art, 10,000 square-foot location is equipped with 10 classrooms and features a turfed, nature-based playground with an outdoor classroom, a full onsite kitchen and chef, live-streaming parent-accessible cameras and 1,000 square-feet of designated indoor play space. Kiddie Academy of Chanhassen will serve 154 children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. The new Academy is bringing 25 jobs to the area.
