The Carver County Historical Society has announced the date for Fall on the Farm for 2024. This year’s event is Saturday, Sept. 28, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Historic Andrew Peterson Farmstead, 8060 Highway 5, Waconia.

Come out to the historic site for farmyard animals, including some absolutely loveable llamas, outdoor cooking brought to you by the Carver County Parks Service, and an appearance from the Scott Carver Threshers. The event is free through a sponsorship by Thrivent. The Historical Society will once again be collecting donations for the Gather and Grow Waconia Food Shelf.

There will be special programs for visitors to enjoy starting at 10:30 a.m., also two day-long demonstrations, one on a printing press and another focused on sewing and quilting! Don’t forget the kids’ games to enjoy, and the outdoors in the fresh fall air. The event will be held rain or shine.
