Legion auxiliary kicks off new fiscal year

Members of the Edward Born American Legion Auxiliary Unit #343 of Norwood Young America gathered at the Peace Villa Community Room on Sept. 3 to kick-off their new auxiliary year.

Items on the agenda for the evening included: Approving the unit annual budget, reviewing the standing rules, appointing committee/project assignments, American Education Week (AEW), and recognizing the importance of reporting members valuable service to veterans and the community.

Before adjourning the meeting, ALA members gathered around the new American flag that Unit #343 donated to the Peace Villa.
