    St. Peter Invite Highlights

Waconia won the Invite in dominating fashion, to complete a three-peat as the St. Peter Invite Champions.

The strongest events for the day were the distance freestyle events and the 100 Backstroke. Waconia went 2-3-4-6 in the 200 Freestyle with Mallory Haas leading the way. Haas also led the way in the 500 as the Cats went 1-3-4-6. Both times were season bests for Haas.

The Wildcats earned the most points for their team in the 100 backstroke, going 1-2-4-5. Laura Stockinger set a pool record in the event, in a season best time of 1:01.52.

The 200 and 400 Freestyle Relay A and B teams raced each other, going 1-2 in both, with a combined 0.13 difference between first and second.

The divers got in on the fun competing in their first 11-dive meet of the season. Hazel Lyons medaled by earning 3rd place for the Wildcats.

Waconia faces the No. 3 ranked (Class A) Orono Spartans, on Thursday for a Metro West Conference dual.
