Central sports update

Cross Country

The Central cross country team ran at the Dassel-Cokato Invitational and continued to lower times with 12 personal bests on the year. Aiden Gillett led the boys with a time of 19:58.6 and was followed by Teagan Just (20:08.8), Raymond Willems (20:38.8), Luke Allison (20:56.3), Joseph Kostecka (21:32.8), Nate Venske (23:14.8) and Jake Kroells (24:15.9).

Lexy Allison (24:08.7) led the girls and was followed by Sarah Kostecka (27:15.7), Teagan Wenzel (27:27.9), Lacey Buckentin (27:35.7), Karissa Beneke (30:01.2) and Avery Kranz (30:01.7).

Volleyball

The Central volleyball team defeated Mankato Loyola 3-1 (25-22, 19-25, 25-18, 27-25) after a close 3-2 loss to Tri-City United (25-17, 14-25, 13-25, 25-11, 13-15).

Girls soccer

The Central girls soccer team defeated Wings United 6-0 Sept. 28.
