Brooklyn Park Pet Hospital to host microchip clinic

Brooklyn Park Pet Hospital is hosting a microchipping event for pets and pet owners.

The service ensures that dogs and cats can be easily identified and returned to their owners if they go missing.

Pre-registration is required. If an owner wants multiple animals microchipped, they should reserve one slot per pet.

Organizers say the procedure is quick and easy and will be performed by trained staff of the Brooklyn Park Pet Hospital. The service will cost $20 per pet.

The event will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, at 5815 80th Ave. N. in Brooklyn Park.
