Park Center alumnus Derrick Ogechi recently featured for the Kenyan men’s national basketball team in three qualifying games for the 2025 FIBA AfroBasket tournament. Kenya defeated Guinea 80-74 after losing two competitive games to Tunisia and Angola, all hosted in Monastir, Tunisia. Kenya will replay all three teams to complete the group phase of qualifying. Bill could allow cities to franchise broadband
A proposed bill going through the Minnesota Legislature would treat internet broadband similar to cable television and allow franchising. Golden Valley will not narrow streets
Could narrowing the streets lessen truck traffic? Golden Valley city staff created a feasibility report for the Zane Avenue and Lindsay Street Reconstruction Project that included a narrowing of the streets.
