Robbinsdale police arrest 4 following vehicle pursuit
Early in the morning Dec. 30, the Robbinsdale Police Department reported seeing a vehicle driving on Highway 100 near France Avenue displaying stolen license plates. “The sergeant attempted to affect a traffic stop but the suspect fled. The sergeant pursued the vehicle until such time the suspect’s driving conduct was posing a serious public safety danger. The sergeant discontinued the pursuit at that time,” Robbinsdale Police Captain John Elder said. The vehicle then “rammed a Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office squad car.” There were four people in the fleeing car: a 34-year-old man, a 41-year-old man, a 32-year-old woman and a 26-year-old woman. Two suspects fled while the other two remained in the vehicle. All were taken into custody. Investigation indicates that the vehicle was stolen separately from the license plates.
