Looking Ahead for the week of Sept. 19

Swimming

Hopkins travels to Edina for a Lake Conference dual meet at South View Middle School at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

Park hosts Waconia in a Metro West Conference meet at 6 p.m. at the high school Thursday.

Football

Park (1-2) hosts Robbinsdale Cooper (2-1) for Homecoming 2024 at St. Louis Park Stadium on Friday. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

Hopkins (1-2) is at Burnsville (0-3) on Friday with a 5 p.m. kickoff.

Benilde-St. Margaret’s (1-2) is at Totino-Grace (3-0) on Friday at 7 p.m.

Cross Country

Hopkins, St. Louis Park programs will run at the Roy Griak Invite on Friday at Les Bolstad Golf Course. High School races begin 1:30 p.m. with the HS Boys Championship Race followed by the HS Girls Championship Race at 2:15 p.m. Marnoon Division races at 3 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. and Gold Dvisiion at 4:30 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. Tickets are $12.50 for adults and $10.50 for students/youth/seniors. Kids under 3 are free. Credit card only.

Volleyball

Hopkins hosts a tournament at the Hopkins Royals Athletic Center with matches starting at 8 a.m. on Saturday. Teams participating include: Blaine, Bemidji, Rogers, Detroit Lakes, Minnehaha Academy, Minneapolis Washburn, Rochester Mayo, Minneapolis Roosevelt.

Hopkins travels to Spring Lake Park Tuesday at 7 p.m.

St. Louis Park hosts Park Center Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Soccer

St. Louis Park girls’ host Visitation at 9 a.m. Saturday after the initial game from Aug. 29 was postponed.

Hopkins travels to St. Louis Park for a doubleheader on Tuesday with the boys starting at 5 p.m. followed by the girls at 7 p.m.
