Police: suspect intentionally hits New England police officer with a car
A New Hampshire police officer was taken to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle in the Lakes Region Thursday night, police said. Laconia police Chief Matt Canfield told Maine's Total Coverage's sister station, WMUR News 9, that an officer sustained serious injuries and was taken to Concord Hospital after being struck by a suspect on purpose.

HELMET Cancels U.S. Tour Due To 'Financial Concerns And Lower-Than-Expected Ticket Sales'
HELMET has canceled its previously announced U.S. tour with LOCAL H. According to a statement from HELMET posted on the Facebook page of Wally's in Hampton, New Hampshire, where the two bands were scheduled to perform on September 19, "the cancelation is caused by a mix of significant financial concerns and lower-than-expected ticket sales which is a common problem for many artists this year. We look forward to getting back out on the road in 2025," HELMET wrote. "In the meantime, our European tour this November goes ahead as planned."

Lewis man charged in Morrisonville hit-and-run
MORRISONVILLE | A Lewis man has been arrested in connection with a late-night hit-and-run that left a pedestrian in critical condition in mid-July. LACONIA, N.H. — A man is facing an attempted murder charge after police say he struck a Laconia police officer with a vehicle on Thursday night.
