    Sunland Park Fire helps recover 4 bodies in desert

    EL PASO, Texas ( KTSM ) — Sunland Park Fire Department (SPFD) helped recover four bodies in the desert Monday afternoon, July 1, the department said through their X account.

    All bodies were found by Border Patrol between 5600 McNutt and Bi-national Avenue, SPFD said.

    SPFD assisted the Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Office and the Office of the Medical Investigator with three of the bodies, according to SPFD.

    The other body recovery involved the Sunland Park Police Department and the OMI.

    Sunland Park Fire said the incidents happened at 1:40 p.m. and 5 p.m.
