Dodgers News: Gavin Stone Not Dealing With Fatigue Despite Innings Total
The Los Angeles Dodgers dropped their series opener with the Houston Astros on Friday, failing to scratch across a run in a 5-0 shutout at Minute Maid Park. Gavin Stone made his 19th start of the regular season, turning in six innings, allowing four earned runs on nine hits. It was the second time in July that he allowed nine hits in a start, his last coming against the Philadelphia Phillies on July 10.
Boogie Ellis, Kings Agree To Training Camp Deal
The Sacramento Kings and guard Boogie Ellis have agreed to a training camp deal. Ellis will go to camp with Sacramento with a chance to compete for a roster spot. Ellis went undrafted out of USC at the 2024 NBA Draft. He then played for the Kings in both the Las Vegas and California Summer Leagues.

Drivers stuck between L.A. and Las Vegas as I-15 closure stifles traffic
An overturned big rig and resulting hazmat situation left motorists stranded in the desert just off the crucial interstate between Los Angeles and Las Vegas, and as the situation progresses, concerns about food, water and fuel are increasing. The problem started early Friday morning when a big rig carrying lithium batteries overturned and caught fire. The crash and resulting fire happened near the Afton Road exit just off the 15 Freeway between Barstow and Baker.
