Departures to reach record levels at Indy Airport on July 21/22
INDIANAPOLIS– The Indianapolis International Airport (IND) will welcome tens of thousands of visitors this week during a peak summer travel season as the National Eucharistic Congress, Brickyard 400 and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Grand Boule get underway in the city. Departures on Sunday and Monday are expected to reach record levels, prompting the Indy airport to remind travelers about arriving at the airport early and planning ahead for their flights.
STEAM Camp Empowers Future Innovators
(Batesville, IN) – Kids Discovery Factory’s annual STEAM Camp, sponsored by Hillenbrand, Inc., concluded with great success, hosting over 170 Kindergarten through 6th grade campers from all over Southeastern Indiana for four days of immersive and interactive learning experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM). The STEAM Camp was hosted at Batesville Intermediate School from July 8-11. This year’s attendance was the largest group to date, beating last year’s total of 150 students.
