Union County Public Library update
As many know, the Union County Public Library is undergoing some major renovations and remodeling. Starting this week, the construction team will begin digging the footers for the connection piece and the large community center space. Since the start of renovations, a lot of work has already been completed in order to prepare the inside of the building for construction leading into the new space.
Tri-State residents mourn North College Hill Firefighter
CINCINNATI (WXIX) -On Saturday, Tri-State residents attended the funeral of a North College Hill firefighter who died unexpectedly on Thursday, Aug. 15. Lt. Doug “Socks” Eikens served the North College Hill Fire Department for over 30 years. In addition, he served with Colerain Fire, Hamilton County Urban Search and Rescue, and Greater Cincinnati HazMat.
