The local fishing has been consistent the last few days. Trolling and live bait fishing has yielded some nice catches of wahoo, tuna and bonito out to around 400 feet of water. Early in the week we had a serious 5 knot north current which is rare for inshore fishing.

DINE Fort Lauderdale 2024 concluded on May 23 with its Fusion dinner hosted at The Grateful Palate Catering and Events. Five chefs from five top local restaurants came together to create five courses paired with Total Wine & More wines. Before entering, guests were dazzled with exotic cars courtesy of title sponsor Holman Motorcars. A welcome drink by Los Magos Sotol was provided at the entrance while guests mingled before dinner. The beautiful floral décor by Floral Brittanica elevated the event. Throughout the evening, music by DJ Mike Locke kept the ambiance lively, while a silent auction ending with a live auction benefited the Emeril Lagasse Foundation.
