Louisiana folks already have a hard time keeping cool in the summertime, and now we have to worry that our bottled water might be unsafe to drink. We have all forgotten our water bottles in the car on a hot summer day at some point. If you leave them in your car or in the sun long enough, you may have noticed that they have a strange chemical-like aftertaste. Scientists have been warning us that chemicals 'linked to hormonal imbalances' such as BPA can contaminate the liquid inside the bottle.
St. Amant HS grad receives Nursing Solutions of LA scholarship
Gabby Boquet was awarded the Nursing Solutions of LA Scholarship. Gabby was an honor graduate with a 4.13 GPA at St. Amant HS where she was a member of the soccer team. She enjoys archery, culinary and photography as hobbies. Gabby will be majoring in Nursing at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette this fall. She is the daughter of Casey and Brandon Boquet of St. Amant, La.
