Three arrested after body of missing Louisiana college student found in Mississippi shot multiple times
Three arrests have been made for the murder of a Louisiana college student whose body was found earlier this week in Mississippi. The West Feliciana Parish Sheriff’s Office has reportedly arrested three suspects including Derek Terrell Hollins Jr., 21, of St. Francisville, Calajia Jack, 20, of St. Francisville and Allyah Martin, 21, of Zachary, for their alleged involvement in the shooting death of former Southern University student Steven Harris IV.
Bluebonnet Boulevard near Hyatt Place reopened after hazmat incident
BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Bluebonnet Boulevard has reopened between I-10 and Picardy Avenue after a hazmat incident closed the area, the St. George Fire Department confirmed. According to St. George Fire Department, the incident was caused when an unknown substance leaked from a solo container.

Toddler struck in hit-and-run on Harry Drive, brought to hospital in stable condition
BATON ROUGE — A toddler was brought to the hospital Friday after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run on Harry Drive, Baton Rouge Police said. The two-year-old was struck by a vehicle on Harry Road near North Carrollton Avenue and was found unconscious in the street. The child was brought to a hospital after emergency officials were called and is stable, BRPD said.
