Social media was abuzz with discussions among Marvel fans recently after a low-quality set photo from the much-awaited MCU movie The Fantastic Four: First Steps started circulating online. The start of filming for the movie was announced at the recent San Diego Comic-Con by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, and it’s set to introduce Marvel’s first family into the MCU. So, the recent set photos, which seem to show a glimpse of Pedro Pascal’s Mr. Fanstastic, have only increased discussion surrounding the movie.

Low-resolution set photo reveals Pedro Pascal’s Reed Richards in MCU’s Fantastic Four movie

Recently, two photos from the set of The Fantastic Four: First Steps were shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) by user UnBoxPHD . As per a report by The Direct , these photos were taken on the movie’s set built in Pinewood Studios, England.

The first photo is a wide-angle shot that shows people standing around a walkway and some looking over a railing. The set photo is of low resolution. But, fans can notice Pascal’s Reed Richards standing next to Vanessa Kirby’s Susan Storm at the end of the walkway.

The second photo is a close shot of Pascal and Kirby, who can be seen wearing long jackets. They appear to be looking over at something in the distance as they stand beside each other. The photo doesn’t seem to provide a clear view of their faces. However, the description of the image by UnBoxPHD states, ”Vanessa Kirby and Pedro Pascal watching the Fantasticar take off.”

These images come after a set photo featuring the movie’s costume for The Thing went viral.

Fans can expect more glimpses to come in the future. Filming for the movie has started and it is expected to meet its release window in 2025. Kevin Feige shared a concept trailer of the movie at the San Diego Comic-Con with a replica of the Fantasticar.
