Katherine Langford’s infamous cameo as Tony Stark’s daughter, Morgan Stark , did not make the final cut of Avengers: Endgame . However, new rumors suggest that she could make an MCU return to reprise her deleted role or a similar version of that.

Katherine Langford rumored to play a Morgan Stark variant in future Avengers movies

Following Avengers: Endgame, an officially released deleted scene revealed an older version of Tony Stark’s daughter, Morgan, played by Katherine Langford.

Check out the deleted scene below:

Following Tony’s self-sacrificing snap to save Earth-616, he meets the older version of his daughter within the soul world in this deleted scene. It is similar to how Thanos meets young Gamora following his snap in Avengers: Infinity War. This would have allowed Katherine Langford’s debut and provided closure to Tony. But ultimately, the makers left the scene on the editing room floor.

However, familiar scooper, MyTimeToShineHello , who also got Paul Rudd and Jack Black’s Anaconda casting scoop right, has now stated that Marvel plans to bring Langford back as Morgan Stark.

It may not be the Earth-616 version, who is bound to be in her early teens in the present day. Although, Multiverse is the central aspect of upcoming MCU movies. Hence, Langford could play a Morgan Stark variant from a different Earth in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, .

This would allow Marvel to play with ideas such as making Langford’s Morgan Stark variant the successor of Tony Stark’s Iron Man on a different Earth. At the same time, the viewers could get to see that Morgan Stark variant take on a Victor Von Doom. The latter practically shares her father’s face (played by Robert Downey Jr. ).

Whether something like this happens in Avengers 5 or 6 remains to be seen. Albeit, MyTimeToShineHello’s scoop isn’t official information from Marvel. Thus, it should be considered a rumor and taken with a grain of salt until further confirmation.

Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to release on May 1, 2026. Meanwhile, Avengers: Secret Wars is slated to follow it on May 7, 2027.
