Lego Marvel Avengers: Mission Demolition Trailer Features Gambit, She-Hulk, & More Cameos

A trailer for Lego Marvel Avengers: Mission Demolition has been released.

Lego Marvel Avengers: Mission Demolition is a new animated special that arrives on Disney+ next week. It is the tenth entry in the Lego Marvel -branded collaboration history.

What happens in the Lego Marvel Avengers: Mission Demolition trailer?

The trailer for the animated special assembles some of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Black Panther, Hulk, and more. There are also cameos from a number of other recognizable characters, including She-Hulk, Gambit, Moon Knight, and others.

The footage, however, mainly places an emphasis on a Damage Control agent named Dennis. In Marvel Comics, Damage Control is a company that specializes in rebuilding property and cleaning up rubble after major superhero battles and events. When a villain named Terrax — who, created by Marv Wolfman and John Byrne, originally debuted in 1979’s Fantastic Four #211 — threatens to wipe out the Avengers, Dennis then has no choice but to suit up and save the world.

“An all-new animated special, Lego Marvel Avengers: Mission Demolition is the tenth entry in the popular signature-branded storytelling series,” reads the special’s synopsis. “In the new special from Marvel Studios and the LEGO Group, a young, aspiring hero and superhero fan inadvertently unleashes a powerful new villain looking to rid the world of the Avengers.”

Examples of past Marvel Lego animated collaborations include 2015’s Lego Marvel Super Heroes: Avengers Reassembled, 2018’s Lego Marvel Super Heroes: Black Panther: Trouble in Wakanda, 2019’s Lego Marvel Spider-Man: Vexed by Venom, 2021’s Lego Marvel Avengers: Loki in Training, 2022’s Lego Marvel Avengers: Time Twisted, 2023’s and Lego Marvel Avengers: Code Red, among others.

Lego Marvel Avengers: Mission Demolition will be released on Disney+ on October 18, 2024.
