THE AGENCY SAYS SELF-EMPLOYED IOWANS ARE NOW ELIGIBLE FOR FEMA ASSISTANCE AND THEIR PROGRAMS CAN HELP REPLACE ITEMS THAT WOULD USUALLY BE GIVEN BY A COMPANY LIKE A COMPUTER, TOOLS FOR MANUAL LABOR OR MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS.

DES MOINES, Iowa (Gray Television Iowa Capitol Bureau) - Independent Presidential Candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. says he’s met the requirements to be on the ballot in Iowa. Independent candidates have a different way of getting on the ballot than Republicans or Democrats. Back in April, Kennedy held a convention in Des Moines where he had to get at least 500 eligible electors’ names and addresses to turn into Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate’s office. Kennedy’s campaign says he turned in 750 names Tuesday.
