‘American Pickers’ Will Film in Iowa This September
Earlier this summer, the show 'Antiques Roadshow' made a stop in Iowa to film a couple of episodes. Now, another popular show will be returning to the state to film!. A recent article from the Iowa City Press-Citizen reports that 'American Pickers' is set to do some antique-hunting in Iowa in September of 2024. One Taken To Hospital After Rock Rapids Accident
Rock Rapids, Iowa — One person was taken to a hospital after an accident near Rock Rapids on Thursday. According to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, 61-year-old Consuelo Benavides of Rock Rapids was northbound on Harding Avenue, about a mile and two-thirds north-northwest of Rock Rapids in a 2020 GMC Terrain when she was struck by a turning vehicle, initially traveling southbound. That vehicle was a 2002 Chevrolet Suburban, driven by 52-year-old Peter Almas of Sioux Falls.
