Casper hires new custodial firm for $1M to clean city buildings for 5 years
CASPER, Wyo. — The City of Casper has hired a new custodial business to clean 13 buildings at six locations for the next five years at a cost of about $200,000 a year. Tuesday, the council approved the agreement with Clean Club 307 as a consent resolution item during its regular meeting at its temporary chambers at The Lyric, 230 W. Yellowstone Highway.

CHEYENNE – The Cheyenne Police Department’s 15th annual Cheyenne Neighborhood Night is Thursday, July 11. The official block party map is now available at bit.ly/4cosLiW. Find your neighborhood’s party location and join in the fun. Cheyenne Neighborhood Night is a community-building event designed to bring neighbors, businesses and police together in partnership against crime in Cheyenne. When neighbors are able to meet and connect with one another and the officers that serve them, they are able to work together to prevent crime, according to a CPD news release. Texas 10 Most Wanted Offender Ramiro Dominguez Captured in Cheyenne, Vigilant Public Aid Key to Arrest
In a collaborative stroke of justice, the Texas Department of Public Safety announced the arrest of Ramiro Manuel Dominguez, a Texas 10 Most Wanted sex offender, in Cheyenne, Wyoming on June 27. Dominguez had climbed the list of most sought-after offenders following a December 2023 warrant issued for his failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements. He was previously convicted in 2012 for first-degree rape involving a 10-year-old girl, an offense for which he was sentenced to 8 years confinement. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the capture was fueled by tips received, leading DPS Special Agents from Lubbock to join forces with officers from the Cheyenne Police Department to apprehend Dominguez.
