Wishew: A Social Network App for Fulfilling Wishes

In such uncertain times, Wishew, the first social network app in the world designed to fulfill wishes, feels like it's launching at the perfect time.

"The idea emerged two years ago, following a 'lost' period at work," acknowledged founder and CEO Giacomo Vose. "I was looking for a greater mission to give my days' value, and wanted to accomplish great things and be happy. I spent the following six months trying to dismantle the idea from different angles. When I realized it held up, I started looking for a team."

Wishew will become a platform based on empathy.

"The launch of Wishew marks the dawn of a new era in social networking. A world connected through the universal language of wishes. We have a great responsibility as creators of a digital platform: our mission is to create valuable relationships and to educate about mutual support in a safe and protected environment," Vose noted. "We are overwhelmed in a world that moves fast and fuels individualism and disinterest in others. Often, we don't even have time to take care of ourselves. We perceive these problems but do not think we can change things."

After connecting with Antonino Risicato (co-founder & CMO), and Vincenzo De Caro (co-founder & CGO), Wishew closed one of the highest pre-seed funding rounds in the world with the main investor being public figure Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio through his fund, LMDV Capital.

"Finding Vincenzo and Antonino ensured the existence of Wishew, without them, it wouldn't exist! On our app, for the first time in the history of social networks, people's wishes will be visible," enthused Vosel, a former electronic engineer with international experience.

"We are all made of desires, and these have no definition or hierarchy; we want this to be very clear to our users. Imagine a single place where you can intimately listen to what people desire and take positive action to help!"

Within Wishew’s discover section, users will discover thousands of videos waiting for them, sharing personal stories, challenges, and dreams. It’s an immersive, vibrant, and uniquely human experience that engages the user from the first moment, Vose noted

"Participation is intuitive and rewarding: through voluntary donations, users contribute to the fulfillment of others' wishes, earning rewards and special privileges in return. At the same time, users can share their own wishes through personal videos, inviting other dreamers to support them."

Vose plans to have non profits and charity organizations register for the site. "The 'care' sphere, as we like to call it, is a potential segment that we will consider in due course."

The recent launch of Wishew was a success, despite the product still being in its early stages.

"From this point on, we need the support and trust of our users, financial institutions, and not least the investors," said Vose. "To get involved with Wishew, one must embrace its mission and believe in the madness of its idea. The most beautiful stories, after all, share a common denominator of mad ideas."

Added De Caro: "It's a wonderful adventure, and our focus for the next 12 months will be entirely on our users. We are aware that we are creating something very important."
