Melrose Vet: Celebrating Expanded Hours & Urgent Care

The Melrose Vet celebrated the launch of their Urgent Care & Expanded Hours with an open house celebration for the Los Angeles pet community. The full-service West Hollywood veterinary clinic is led by Dr. Sehaj Grewal and is known for their comprehensive and compassionate, heart-centered approach to animal care.

"We were amazed by the turnout at our launch event—it was clear that our community values accessible, quality care for their pets, and we’re proud to meet that need,” Dr. Grewal said.

Serving the Los Angeles community for over three years, the 3500 square foot facility offers vet services including exam rooms for wellness checks, vaccinations, neutering and preventative care, as well as specialty areas for on site surgeries, dentistry, and rehabilitation including pet massage therapy and hydrotherapy tanks. In addition, they offer after-care, pet grooming services, and house calls.

“The event allowed us to engage directly with pet owners, and the feedback was incredibly positive," noted Dr. Grewal. "It reinforced our mission to provide compassionate, urgent care right here in West Hollywood.”

Dr. Grewal was thrilled to see so many pet owners at the launch event; this reassured him and his team that "our extended services will have a real impact on the community.”

“In the eyes of every pet owner, their pets are family and they should be treated as such. We treat patients day to day and saw a gap in care for after hours and emergency services that we knew we could fill for the community. Most vet clinics are only open during standard business hours and many emergency pet hospitals lack the history of treating your pet over time,” said Dr. Grewal.

He considered the party as a "tremendous success" in bridging the gap between pet owners and emergency veterinary care. "It’s rewarding to know we’re making a difference in our neighborhood.”

The event featured a Mocktail Bar with three signature drink options created by Daryl Schwartz, Founder of Good + Bar. There was also a stunning charcuterie and fruit display presented by Charcuterie by P, led by Patricia Ambriz. Eco-friendly pet care brand Cleo & Hooman led by co-founders Louie Marte & Michael McLafferty were on hand offering samples of their zoomie wipes and other essential products.

The new urgent care services include extended hours, with The Melrose Vet now open late nights and weekends (7-11 pm PST). The facility is equipped with state of the art diagnostic tools like XRays and Ultrasounds onsite, for fast assessments when time matters most.

With experienced veterinary technicians trained in emergency care. Dr. Grewal's office offers a wide range of treatments from minor injuries to serious conditions, including pet surgeries for urgent needs.
