WATCH: WVU Women’s Basketball Team Holds Outdoor Workout
The West Virginia women’s basketball team recently held an outdoor workout, which the program’s social media posted. The Mountaineers went 25-8 last season under first-year head coach Mark Kellogg and made the NCAA Tournament, where they fell to Iowa in the second round. In Kellogg’s second year, the team will be looking to have similar success, possibly making it further in the tournament, while continuing to put WVU as a top team in women’s college basketball. This summer workout can be a testament to the team’s commitment to improvement.

A rezoning vote that could permit a super-sized recreational vehicle (RV) and “glamping” park to be built on farmland near Midway, Kentucky, got postponed from July 11 to Aug. 8, setting up the next clash in what has been a three-year civic and legal battle over whether a commercial operation of such a massive scale is right for the low-key city of 1,700 residents and the numerous horse farms in the area.

Boone County man arrested after authorities find drugs and cash, troopers say
BOONE COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) — A Boone County man faces felony drug charges after he was caught with various amounts of drugs and $1,000 Thursday, troopers said. Jamie Osborne, 36, was arrested and charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver after troopers responded to a disturbance call to Boone Motor Lodge in Danville.
