Fatal single-vehicle accident ends in fire
Danny Federico reporter3.riverbendnews@gmail.com A 62-year-old Live Oak woman was pronounced deceased following a single-vehicle accident that occurred at approximately 6:32 p.m. on Monday, June 17, in Suwannee County. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) report, the driver was traveling west on County Road 252 near 89th Road in a pickup truck. For unknown reasons, the truck left the roadway, where it struck a guardrail and overturned into the south treeline. Upon coming to final rest, the truck caught on fire, becoming fully engulfed.
