Jaw-Dropping Report Names One Idaho College “Worst In America”

It's no surprise that the top three schools in 2024 are Princeton and MIT, and a tie for third between Harvard and Stanford.

Idaho House Bill 538, which was enacted on July 1, 2024, allows teachers to choose whether or not to use names or pronouns for students that don’t correlate with their gender assigned at birth without parental consent. The law also protects teachers and government employees from legal action if they refuse to use an individual’s preferred name or pronouns.

AP — Boise State, Liberty, and UTSA are among the top contenders for the Group of Five's spot in the College Football Playoff. The structure for the playoff's expansion to 12 teams guarantees one bid for a team from outside the power conferences. Ashton Jeanty-led Boise State is the Mountain West's defending champion and preseason favorite. The defending Conference USA-champion Flames were unbeaten last season until their bowl loss to Oregon, and they return star quarterback Kaidon Salter. The Roadrunners have become one of the top Group of Five programs under Jeff Traylor. Memphis, Appalachian State and Tulane also merit watching.

Grizzly Relocated After Cattle Killing in Island Park Idaho
On August 21, 2024, the Idaho Department of Fish and Game (IDFG), in consultation with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), relocated a 5-year-old female grizzly bear following confirmed cattle depredations in the Henry’s Lake area. The 257-pound grizzly was captured the night before and was found near an area where other bears had been present. Since this bear had no prior history of cattle depredation, the decision was made to relocate her instead of taking more severe measures.
