Winchester Police warn of paving scam
WINCHESTER, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) – Police in Winchester are warning residents of an asphalt scam making the rounds in the community. Police said they are aware that a truck is in town claiming to be from an asphalt paving company, and the driver is soliciting business door-to-door, offering to pave your driveway with leftover asphalt from other jobs in the area at a discounted rate.
Winchester man arrested for soliciting a minor online
WINCHESTER, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) – A Winchester resident is facing serious charges following allegations of inappropriate online interactions with a minor. New Hampshire State Police arrested 47-year-old Travus S. Barnes Tuesday after a warrant was issued in connection with the investigation. Barnes, who has a prior conviction for sexual assault in 2014, is a registered sex offender in the state.
