Hollywood Police said Jaquim Arenas was arrested and taken into custody Tuesday by officers assigned to the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in connection with the shooting that happened June 21 at 4105 Pembroke Road.
Florida CEO sentenced for multimillion-dollar health insurance fraud scheme
EAST ST. LOUIS, ILL. (CBS12) — A Florida man was sentenced to prison after selling indemnity health insurance to consumers under false or deceptive practices. According to the United States Department of Justice (DOJ), Steven Dorfman, of Fort Lauderdale, was the CEO of a South Florida Telemarketing company known as Simple Health. In February, Dorfman was convicted of one count of conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, four counts of mail fraud, and eight counts of wire fraud in connection with his running Simple Health. He will now spend 25 years in prison.
