    SHS Class of 1971 Enjoys 4-Day 50th Reunion Celebration

    The Class of 1971, the first freshman class to enter the halls of the new Sweetwater High School in 1967, celebrated their 50th Reunion this past weekend here in Sweetwater. Participation was overwhelming, with 99 classmates, spouses and guests in attendance. The class had 196 graduates listed as receiving diplomas in 1971, the first class to go four full years of high school in the new building. Read more

    Sweetwater lost a 3-2 decision to Snyder in District 3-4A volleyball action here Tuesday night. Snyder prevailed 25-20, 23-25, 20-25, 25-22, 18-16 in a match lasting over two hours, improving to 4-0 in district.
