3 Original Shows Coming to Netflix in July That I Can't Wait to Watch

    2024-07-14

July is halfway through and we still have some great July release coming to Netlfix that I am super excited about! Here are the three that I am for sure going to tune into.

    Simone Biles Rising

A documentary about Simone Biles? Yes, please! Like most people in the world, I am fascinated by The GOAT, and I am super excited to see it behind the scenes, especially as we are about to see her compete in her 3rd Olympics this summer in Paris. The trailer looks very intriguing and I'm definitely going to be tuning in to watch this one!

    Coming to Netflix July 17th

    The Decameron

This show looks hilarious (although very raunchy), and I am very excited about it! I'm not sure why there hasn't been a lot of PR for this, as it seems like it could really capitalize on all the Bridgerton and My Lady Jane hype.

The show is self-described as. "The Black Death strikes hard in the Italian countryside in 1348, and a handful of nobles retreat to a grand villa with their servants. But what starts as a wine-soaked sex romp descends into a race for survival in this soapy dark comedy."

I am definitely going to be checking this one out, and hopefully, it lives up to its premise!

Coming to Netflix on July 25th.

    Kleo

I stumbled upon this show a few years ago when I was looking for something to watch, and I was surprised by how much I liked it. It's not my usual fare (no romance and no swooning), and it's pretty dark (Kleo is a spy who was captured and tortured by her own people), but it's well-written, and the acting is superb. You really start rooting for Kleo as she deals with the mess of the collapse of the GDR. I'm excited to see where the second season takes us.

Coming to Netflix on July 25th.

Which shows are you excited to watch this July?
