4-H domestic, barn and rescue cats earn champion awards
HUNTINGTON COUNTY — It came down to a domestic, barn and rescue cat vying for championship wins at the Huntington County 4-H Cat Show Monday evening. “I’m a teacher, so I get to educate the kids,” said cat judge, Alyssa Hammel of Syracuse, Ind., before the show. “It’s hard to judge here because the kids are really knowledgeable about their cats.”

Local Girl Raising Money For Adoptions Through Music
WARSAW — Eleven-year-old, Norah Kuhn is using her musical talents to help raise money for local families trying to adopt. Kuhn’s parents, Phil and Melissa Kuhn are the founders of “Legacy Of Blessings Adoption Foundation.” This foundation was created to help educate people on the adoption process and provide families with resources and encouragement through the adoption process, while also helping with the financial side of adoptions.
