WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office says a picnic table at a Syracuse park has presumptive positive results for amphetamines.

On Tuesday, the sheriff’s office was advised of the drug exposure where a person came in contact with a controlled substance at the park near the hospital.

The office said the tables were tested which turned up with presumptive positive results. The City was notified, and the tables were cleaned and disinfected.

According to the Drug Enforcement Administration, amphetamines are stimulants that speed up the body’s system. The most potent form is crystal methamphetamine.
