Tickets for the Great New York State Fair are now on sale: Info, free days for 2024

The New York State Fair will be held in Syracuse on August 21, and tickets are now on sale.

From Wednesday, Aug. 21, to Monday, Sep. 2, the Great NYS Fair will be held at 581 State Fair Blvd. in Syracuse. Attendees can expect to enjoy food, rides, games, free concerts, and more.

General admission is $8 and free for seniors and children 12 and under. Frequent Fairgoer tickets are $25, non-transferable tickets that allow one guest to enter the fair once a day. Free admission will be available on Special Fair Days, including:

• Law Enforcement Day: Monday, August 26
• Fire, Rescue, & EMS Day: Tuesday, August 27
• Armed Forces Day: Thursday, August 29
• Native Americans Day: Friday, August 30

Parking will be available for $12. Tickets can be purchased at nysfair.ny.gov/admission/.

Concerts:Grammy-winning artist Big Boi to perform at New York State Fair

Free Concerts:

All free shows will need a general admission ticket and take place at the Chevy Court. Concerts will run from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. near the Gate 1 entrance. Performances will include international singer and Rochestarian Danielle Ponder, who is set to take the stage at 6 p.m.

Ticketed Concerts:

Admission to ticketed concerts must be purchased in addition to general admission tickets. Concerts will be in Suburban Park, starting at 8 p.m. near the west entrance of the fairgrounds. Visit nysfair.ny.gov/venue/suburban-park/ to view the entire lineup.
