Which Great Local Baseball Coach Finally Retired From Section II?
A legendary high school baseball coach announced his retirement this week as Doug Lavalley is finally done with Guilderland varsity high school baseball. I have known Coach Lavalley for years and he is an awesome coach and an even better person. We go way back to Guilderland Little League and he has had some great teams with some great players. Some have even gone on to the next level. He is a great man and he will be missed for Section II baseball as he is so well liked and respected.
