SOMERSET, NJ—On October 1, 2024, a partnership between the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender (NJOPD), First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens, and the prosecutor's offices of Somerset and Middlesex counties brought a "Clean Slate" expungement clinic to Somerset, providing vital legal assistance to over 225 residents, according to a press release. The clinic offered free services aimed at helping eligible residents clear their criminal records. NEWTON, NJ – Newton field hockey, with the second seed, is moving on to the semi-final round of the Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex tournament after beating seventh seed Belvidere 6-0 on Friday, on the Braves’ turf. Kaitlyn Harding led the Braves with three goals. Jaclyn Vena earned an assist on Harding’s second goal midway through the third quarter.
