The UAlbany women's lacrosse team locked up its second straight regular season title and home-field advantage in the America East playoffs for the third straight season with a nine-point victory over New Hampshire in the 2024 regular season finale Saturday afternoon.
Capital Cup for Kids raising money for local charities
Over 350 local adult hockey players will compete for the 2024 Capital Cup championship on Saturday while raising money for local children's charities in the Capital Region. The fundraiser will be at the Albany County Hockey Facility, 18 Hockey Lane in Colonie, with games from 8 to 9 a.m., family day activities from noon to 4 p.m., and a Hall of Fame induction ceremony at 12:45 p.m.
