The Cabot Scholarship Foundation awarded a record $149,300 in scholarships to local high school seniors on a recent Tuesday night. This event marks a significant milestone for the foundation, which was established in 1990. A total of 136 students received scholarships to support their studies at various educational institutions, including two and four-year colleges, and technical and vocational schools.
Cabot School Board April Meeting: Local Group Donates $13K, Student and Teacher Achievements Highlighted
The April 2024 School Board meeting in Cabot focused on key contributions to local education. The Cabot Country Cruisers, a local running group, donated $13,000 to the Cabot School District. This donation, the largest from the group so far, will support various programs. It includes $5,000 for physical education equipment and curriculum, $2,000 for scholarships for two track seniors, and $6,000 for the Cabot Family Track Nights to promote community fitness.
