Key Dates and Events for High School Seniors and Juniors: Grad Signs, Prom Details, and More
On Thursday, May 16, 2024, seniors at the high school will receive their graduation signs and magnets. Distribution starts on Friday, May 17, at the start of the eighth period outside the main lobby and continues on Monday, May 20. Each senior will get one sign and one magnet, along with installation hardware. Seniors are encouraged to display these items proudly.
Farmingdale High Students Build Hope: Local Youths Construct Home for Family in Need
Students from Farmingdale High School's Interact Club participated in a Habitat for Humanity project, building a home for a family in need. They performed tasks such as digging trenches and constructing fences. The project demonstrated the educational value of community service, teaching the students important life skills and the significance of helping others. Nassau Community College teachers file ethics complaint over school’s $120K spent on casino lobbying
Nassau Community College’s teachers union slapped the school with an ethics complaint for dishing out $120,000 to a lobbying firm backing a controversial casino project, The Post has learned.
